2026 TRIAL GB BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP
On the 25th of April the 2026 ACU Trial GB British Trials Championship gets under way in North Devon. After the success of the 2025 series the ACU again present an eight round championship held at four different venues. Round one is at On Point Moto on behalf of Absolute Trials Training which is a new venue in the championship calendar and welcomes the riders to Keypitts Farm, Ilfracombe, Devon, EX34 9RW. The 150-acre Keypitts Farm will provide a challenging test as the opening event with two laps of 12 observed sections which will include a wide variety of hazards including woods, hill climbs and rivers. Opening the pathway to for a wide range of talent the ACU British Championship now includes a total of nine classes catering for all riders whilst providing opportunity for youth competitors to progress and develop at their own pace, focusing on ability and not age.

Key changes for 2026
Trial3 championship: This is a rebrand of the former Youth A class but will be open to Youth A and B license holders. There will be no change to the level of the sections but it allows fast rising B class competitors the option of moving up early with permission, and a natural progression onwards to Trial2. Trial3 for Girls and Women: This is designed for girls with Youth A and B class licenses but with a separate women’s adult category, providing a pathway to Trial2 Women and TrialGB Women. Trial4 Championship: This class is replacing the former Youth B category but will be open to Youth B license holders, and riders who will be moving onto a Youth A license for 2026. It will not be possible for a rider who competed as a Youth A rider during 2025 to drop down onto Trial4.
