After a 10-year absence, the ACU Inter-Centre Team Trial made a successful return at the Bob MacGregor Academy on the outskirts of Glasgow, hosted with the kind permission of owner Jim Kerr.
First held in 1932, the Inter-Centre Team Trial has a proud and historic legacy, and this year’s event brought that tradition back to life with an exciting weekend of competition.
Youth Teams Shine on Saturday
The opening day saw seven youth centre teams take to the sections, with Yorkshire taking the top step of the podium ahead of East Yorks in second, and SACU in third.
Elite, Expert, and Women’s Teams Battle on Sunday
Sunday’s competition saw a fantastic turnout, with 15 adult teams and 3 women’s teams contesting the event. History was made as the Scottish SACU Elite team of Duncan McColl, Ben Dignan, and Jamie Galloway claimed victory – the first time in history that SACU has lifted the Elite title.
