Following the announcement late in 2023 that the ACU Motocross Commission would be introducing two new Youth classes for Youth Sidecar Cross in 2024, the weekend of the 13th and 14th April saw youngsters Louis Murch and Freddie Keane make history as the first Youth Sidecar crew to compete at an ACU event.
Louis Murch and Freddie Keane completed all 6 x 10min +1 races over 2 days at Round 1 of the NETT Championship at Ironworks Mx, alongside the 150/250 Quad class. They were both very consistent and rode a large technical track very competently.
Great progress was made with each race and a huge amount of support and recognition from all Sidecar (and Quads) teams at the Championship. The team are really looking forward to their next race at Bassenthwaite for Round 2 of the NETT Championship.
