NG Road Racing head to Pembrey

The halfway point in the NG Racing / Completely Motorbikes championship comes to the Welsh home of motorsport, Pembrey with the promise of high speed action on the flat but technical race track.

Although some very fast sections allow this circuit to let the bikes use all the horse power they have the Hatchets hairpin at the end of the start finish straight , officially Park Straight , is one of the tightest corners of all the tracks NG visit and out brake yourself here and it will mess your run through the Spitfires , Dibeni run up to the ESSES and then the run to the deceptively tight Brooklands Hairpin and the fast run down Speedway Straight through to Woodlands and on to the fast Honda Curve.

Do that in about a minute and your flying , do it in 57.290 and your name is Josh Day and that’s the lap record!

Championships are starting to unfold now with Max Symonds having a run of early results in the Phoneix Open and Bluebell Lakes Powerbikes although running in BSB Stock 1000 class could see a shortened programme ?

IMS 600 Open is the property of George Edwards and looking untouchable but Ricky Elder is chipping away with consistent points to hang on to the Dan Copper run Yamaha r6

ACU 250 National Championship is Bobby Varey and looking like a championship in the making for the bright dayglo machine and the supporters club in the same colour tee shirts!

This could be a make or break meeting for a number of riders needing points to hang onto a lead of close the gaps , with 3 rounds to go after this every class is going to have to be flat out!!
