The MX Nationals have announced they are switching the venues for rounds 5 and 6 of their Championship with round 5 now being at Hawkstone Park and Round 6 now being at the brand new Oxford Moto Parc.
The full statement from the MX Nationals reads as follows:
Just to give you the heads up that we’ll be changing the venue for round 5 of the Michelin MX Nationals powered by Milwaukee, from our new proposed venue of Oxford Moto Parc to Hawkstone Park, Shropshire. The final round (#6) will then be at Oxford Moto Park.
We’re swapping the venues around to give us more time to do a better job in building the new circuit at Oxford Moto Park and make sure it’s all good to go to end the championship in style and cause as much buzz as we can about the new venue. By pushing that venue back to the final round we can get up to the track and test it more comprehensively once it’s built and make any finer amendments. We want the new venue to be on point and the best we can when all you guys rock up for the very first time! New venues are hard to come by and we want to make sure we hit the ground running with it.
Here’s the confirmed dates/ venues for the final two rounds of the championship.
August 6/7th – Hawkstone Park
September 3/4th – Oxford Moto Parc
Entries for both rounds will posted up in due course as normal. We look forward to seeing you at Hawkstone Park at the start of next month.
