World Class Trials Riders Head to Devon

Around twelve riders who have just competed in the opening four rounds of the Trial GP series will head to Devon for two rounds of the Wulfsport ACU Trial GB series which will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

Local interest will feature on Billy Green and Toby Martyn in the Trial GB Class, whilst the Peace brothers and Jack Dance will also compete in the main Trial GB Class.

Fresh from their World success, the Hemingway Brothers, Jamie Galloway and Alfie Lampkin will also do battle on both days.

Round five on Saturday takes place at Peter Tavy on the Western slopes of Dartmoor, whilst Sundays event is fifteen miles East at Lustleigh, on the other side of the moors.

The fifty plus riders will compete three laps of a compact course which has hosted a round of Britain’s premier series over the past decade.  Their skills will be tested to the maximum over the three laps which will commence at 9.30am and finish with Podium Presentations and Interviews at 4pm.

The event will also feature Britain’s own Queen of Trials, Emma Bristow who now heads the Ladies Trial GP series by six points from her nearest rival. At Lustleigh, Emma will take the men on, head to head.

Saturday’s round will be signposted off the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road at Harford Bridge.

Sunday’s event is at Kelly which is situated adjacent to the A382 Bovey Tracey to Moretonhampstead road and will be signposted from Bovey.

Admission is £5 for Adults with accompanied children free and a souvenir Programme priced at £2. Further details can be found on the series website www.acutrialgb.co.uk
