NG Racing Round 4 at Pembrey on the 11 & 12th June

Wednesday June 8, 2022 at 12:01pm

Moving on very quickly it seems we have already got to the halfway point of the season

Where did that go??

The visit to the fast and flat spaces of Pembrey with its very fast track and super grip levels make for fast racing in both dry and wet conditions, hopefully not this weekend though.

The run to the championships is taking shape now and the ACU National 250’s is all to play for with 2 Stroke Tommy Lawer leading from Simon Hunt Bruce Dunn and Donington maximum man Bobby Varey this could go down to the wire, so this weekend is vital points to be had.

The Phoenix Open is a Bob Collins, Max Symonds race but with the rumours that Collins is at other events could leave the door wide open for Max but the BMW was not the happiest of machines at Donington with a problematic clutch but hopefully will be sorted by now.

Powerbikes is the same story with the possible absence of Colins there is an awful lot of work for any of the following pack to do to grab points from Max?

IMS 600 is closer with George Edwards on top so far with James Bull, Shane Faber and Richard Wardel plus Alex Barker all still in the mix another set of races this weekend to score vital points, you only need to be one point ahead at the of the year!

No Bandit Challenge shoot out this year so all races count Ben Miler after a slow start is the new very fast kid on the block and Chris the eagle Edwards coming to form are chasing the no 1 of Harley Prebble although paddock gossip is saying he will not be out this round??

An interesting weekend to be had by the look of it more fun to be found maybe in the paddock as well as on the track, the only sure-fire thing is the grids will be full and the racing to close for comfort!!!
