ACU Trial 125 Battle Continues

With the reigning Champion, Jack Dance moving up two classes, it was expected that both Harry Hemingway (Beta) and Harry Turner (pictured Scorpa) will resume their battle for supremacy again this season and these two quickly rising stars topped the podium at Hookwood with the younger Hemingway brother, George still only thirteen years of age, taking the third step on the podium.

Harry H actually posted the lowest score of the whole entry of Experts and 125s on the thirty six section event, which included no less than twenty five cleans.

Posting lap scores of 7-9-5 the Yorkshire lad was never headed, although Turner stayed within a single mark after two tours of the course, but a final lap of eleven secured a safe second.

Harry Bowyer (GasGas) improved as the day went on to finish fourth with 41 marks lost, whilst Jamie Galloway (Beta) made the long journey from Scotland worthwhile with a big handful of championship points with fifth place. Making their ACU Trial 125 class debut, Alfie Lampkin (Vertigo), Owen Chestnut (Scorpa), Joe Snelling (Beta), Jay Pyper (Beta) and Charlie Cripps (Beta) all excelled themselves to round out the top ten positions as the series now has a five week break until the two Devon rounds.
