Wulfsport ACU Trial GB calendar finalised

Following the latest announcement from the Prime Minister and a revised World Trial GP listing, the ACU have released a final calendar for the nine rounds for 2021. Obviously, all of this is subject to Covid restrictions or changes, but plans are progressing well to hold a full season.

The ACU Trials & Enduro Committee have clearly stated that a minimum of three events must be run for a championship to be recognised, but with a total of nine rounds spread between May and October, everything is looking positive.

The entries for the opening round, due to take place at Hookwood on May 23rd will open this weekend on the Ride ACU website. There is then a five week break until rounds two and three take place in Devon at the popular Kelly Farm venue, with the short trip across to the West of Dartmoor for the Torridge round on the last weekend in June.

With the postponement of the British round of the FIM Trial GP series, the Westmorland Club have slotted their round in on July 11th at Ghyll Farm, Bowston, affectionately known as Batty’s. Our picture, courtesy of John Dickinson shows the picturesque landscape, high above the venue, which Clerk of the Course Antony Brockbank will utilise to the full.

A return for the series to the Low North Park at Scarborough venue is a welcome return to the calendar on the 25th July before the Yeadon Guiseley round, once again at Brimham Rocks on the 15th August.  A busy GP calendar rakes over for a while ahead of the Welsh double header on the last weekend in September at a new venue at Llanbedr (Snowdonia) and a return to the Hafren event at Llanidloes the following day.

The series will finish with a single round on either the 23rd or 24th October at a venue to be confirmed.

Once again, Sammy Miller and Point- S will be important sponsors to the championship this year, backing up Wulfsport, whilst all of the UK Importers are investing in the series which is much appreciated.
