Although we have not yet received any information regarding the 2021 event, this year’s ISDE is listed in the FIM calendar for 30th August - 4th Sept, to be held in the same place as had been scheduled for 2020, ie Italy, Lombardy/Piedemonte region.
We can only go ahead and plan as much as we do in normal times and hope for the best!

Last year, Federations’ provisional interest had to be lodged with the organisers by 30th March, and so we will again stick with this date, but of course will wait to see what info then comes out of the FMI as the timescales may be very different this year.
Just as in previous years, it is expected that a deposit of 25% of each rider’s entry fee which is non - returnable, will be required, but we will request this as late as possible before the stated deadline (when we get it).
To give you an idea of expected costs, last year the entry fee was set at 900 euros per rider, and the licence price, which again is inclusive of medical and repatriation insurance (ie Start Permission) has risen to £263.00
In past years we have also requested a bond of £3,000 per team , sent in the form of a cheque, which is then held uncashed until all ISDE Accounts have been settled . We will be asking for this again in 2021 and also that each team nominate a Team Manager as the single point of contact, and whose appointment is endorsed by the relevant Centre. See attached form.
We cannot offer anymore information at the moment and appreciate that you will not wish to make any financial commitment until there is more certainty, but the above outlines the procedure for interested teams, so at least drop Mary Kerr an email.
