British Championship Status Removed from Connor Smith Memorial 2020 at Duns
In an attempt to salvage something during these very difficult times the ACU British Championship for both Sidecars and Quads was scheduled to take place over two days at Duns on the 26th and 27th. September and would be hosted by the enthusiastic and hardworking NETT club. This was never the preferred plan but under the current climate it was the only workable way to provide these competitors with a Championship.

Over the recent weeks there has been a consensus within the Sidecar teams that a Double header Championship is not suitable. Following further discussion between the NETT Committee from the Organising club and with the ACU Motocross Committee, the decision has been made to remove the British Championship status of this event for both the Sidecars and Quads.

The NETT will still be running the Two-Day weekend of racing as the Connor Smith Memorial 2020 with classes for Quads, both Youth and Adults, along with Sidecars. Entries are available in all classes and the Club and ACU are urging any Quad and Sidecar Crews to support the event as the club welcomes all entries to be made online via www.ride-acu.uk at the soonest opportunity. Without such support the club will struggle as they have already made a significant financial investment in planning this event."
