The Keith Marshall Trial

Wednesday July 8, 2020 at 10:03am

Waltham Chase Trials MCC will hold their first competitive Trial under Covid-19 restrictions on Sunday 26th July at Woodberry Lane, Rowlands Castle, PO9 6DP.

The event, the Keith Marshall Trophy Trial, has classes for Pre 65, Twin-Shock, Air Cooled Mono’s, Rigid‘s and riders over 60 on modern bikes is open to all all members of ACU Southern Centre Clubs.

This is the only Trial in the Waltham Chase calender held using  Non-Stop rules.

The venue is ideally suited for this event, with a very long circuit to blow out the cobwebs and no rocks to scratch the bikes!

The Club has a commitment of 15 Observers in advance of the Trial, to score the 15 section, three lap course.

Entry is through the ACU online system only and riders must make their own Number Plate for their bike.

There is no “on the day” entry, and riders are reminded that there will be no stationery, forms, number cards, pens or any of the other things you forget at “sign on”.

It is unlikely that there will be a “Burger Van” on site, a vital part of a normal Sunday.

There will not be a “shout out briefing” at the start, with all riders will receive Final Instructions via email.

One downside – You will not see the results for a few days, until the score sheets come out of “quarantine”.
