Great Britain star Robert Lambert holds second position in the Speedway Euro Championship with two rounds of the series remaining.
King’s Lynn favourite Lambert picked up 12 points on his home Polish track of Rybnik on Wednesday, although having impressed in the qualifying races there was frustration when mechanical issues left him at the back in the Last Chance race-off.
It means Lambert is six points overall behind former Poole man Leon Madsen, who completed a hat-trick of meeting wins, and one clear of Sheffield’s Nicki Pedersen.
A rapid turnaround means the series continues on Thursday with the rescheduled round in Gniezno.
