At the Annual General Meeting of the Manx Motor Cycle Club, held last Friday the Club’s very popular Welfare Officer, Wyn Evans MBE was nominated to the position of a Hon Vice President of the Club. In proposing Wyn for the position, former Chief Timekeeper John Stott said that she had assisted Jack Wood for 3 years from 1998 as Welfare Officer for the Manx, before taking on the position herself and continues in the job today. A Trustee of the ACU Benevolent Fund, Wyn has worked tirelessly to promote the fund on the Island in addition to her duties in looking after the welfare of the riders.
