We have recently received further information from the FIM with regards to Insurance Cover when competing in European Events with an FIM International Licence.
To ensure that all riders are covered in case of an accident you must also have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). These are free and you should apply via the link below from the NHS Website.

The EHIC covers medically necessary state-provided healthcare at a reduced cost or, in some cases, free of charge, until your planned return home. Any repatriation costs would be covered under the FIM Insurance Policy (TSM)
If you do not have an EHIC Card while competing in an FIM event in Europe, the FIM Insurance Company (TSM), may ask for a partial refund of any costs they incur, so, if you do not already have an EHIC Card, I urge you to apply for one prior to leaving the UK for your next FIM European event.
