THE MONSTER 1000cc SIDECARS ARE HEADING TO KING’S LYNN THIS FRIDAY

Last season’s champions Paul Whitelam/Alan Elliott will be looking for a good night after failing to make the A-Final in Somerset. The 2018 champions won the Season Opener at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena in April. They need a good result to keep their title hopes alive as the crews move into the second half of the Championship season. The last round in Somerset saw some excellent racing with a few upsets on the night. No less than nine of the sixteen crews gaining race wins proving the race series has real strength in depth. A fact echoed by Russell Mitchell, a former Australian Champion and frame builder who was visiting the UK and present in the West Country. Seventeen crews will be heading to East Anglia on Friday and the action starts at 6.30pm with Practice. The Tapes go up at 7.30pm for the first race of over twenty-heats of fairing rubbing action. With the entrance price held at £10 for adults and Free for Under 16’s it really is a great night for all the family.
