Chris Mort (Honda 600) maintained his 2019 Tonfanau record with victories in all three legs of the Crewe and south Cheshire’s 450cc-1100cc championship. It takes his tally for the year to 9 and his total points to 90.

His closest rival, James Evans (Yamaha) lost ground on the series leader slipping back from six to nine. But with one round to go and 30 points to be won Mort can not yet count on retaining his Crown.

John Price (Kawasaki 400) always knew it was going to be a tough task to hang on to the 400 SuperSports and Forgotten ERA up to 500cc titles he had reclaimed this year. But it’s tougher now.

Two more wins in the SuperSports has left his lead in that series to a slender two points over Wayne Collins (Kawasaki 400), who notched up two seconds and a win. The absent Tony Griffiths slipped down the table.

It was even worse in the Forgotten ERA class. The disaster after the victory in Race one produced no more points, but rival Phill Millard piled on the points on his Kawasaki to leave Price needing a miracle in the final Round in August.

Mark Purslow (Kawasaki 650) won all three Minitwins, but is too far out of contention Martin Robins from taking the crown.
