Scarborough & District MC venue at Low North Park Harwood Dale was the setting for the 2nd round for the 2019 ACU Belle Trailers British Ladies & Girls Trials Championship last Saturday.
The Ladies & Girls were fortunate to have a slight rainstorm just after midday but this did not affect the conditions of the sections which consisted of steams, climbs, tree roots. The skills of the females were tested with close marks being dropped throughout the classes showing that it will be an interesting series throughout the championship.
This was followed on Sunday by the 3rd round of the 2019 ACU Belle Trailers British solo Youth C & D Trials Championship on 10 completely different sections to the Ladies & Girls. With a lap of just over 2 miles some parents & batteries of the electric bikes were having problems to keep up with the pace on the undulating course. Conditions on Sunday were ideal which made for another superb event at this excellent venue.
The C & D Championship now moves on the Mansfield Maun event to include A & B riders at Dudwood Farm in Derbyshire on June 30th.
The Ladies & Girls will have two events in the North East Centre on July 6th & 7th.
