ACU Pro Clean British Sidecar cross Championship Starts at Milton Park this Sunday
This weekend the first round of the 2019 ACU Pro Clean British sidecarcross championships takes place at Milton Malsor MX Park hosted by ACU events. This is the opening round of the six round championships that will be taking in some of the best tracks in the north, south, east and west of the country finishing on the last weekend of September in Kent.

Nearly thirty of the top crews in the country have entered but sadly for the first time in twenty years the defending champion will be unable to participate because of injury. Having been runner up to Stuart Brown for so long Brett Wilkinson finally won the title last year but a serious crash at the Belgian GP in Lommel has forced Brett out for possibly up to three months with a serious back injury. He is hoping to return with his new passenger Ryan Humphrey in the summer.

With Wilkinson / Humphrey missing the fifteen times champion Stuart Brown now reunited with his old passenger Josh Chamberlain must be favourite to regain his title. Trying hard to stop him will be Irishman Gary Moulds and his passenger Steve Kirwin and also Stuart’s son Jake who is now passengered by Joe Millard.

Embedded in the three twenty-minute races is the Experts class where the leading contenders are Neil Campbell / Charlie Ide, Dan Goodall / Liam Hodges and Rob Moss / Ryan Henderson.

Technical control will take place between 3pm and 6pm on Saturday and again between 07.30 and 08.30 on Sunday morning. Practice is due to start at 09.00 hrs with the first race starting mid morning.

Admission for adults is £12 and children £5. The nearest postcode for those with SatNavs is NN7 3AW.
