British 2-Stroke Junior Championship Introduced
We all know that there’s a huge grassroots following for two-stroke racing and the British Two-stroke Championship has recognised this by introducing a new class-within-a-class for next season.

In 2019 the B2S series – that runs alongside the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean – will include the Two-stroke Junior Cup which aims to build on the success of the Expert championships that were introduced in the MX1 and MX2 classes this year.

Open to all ACU Junior-graded two-stroke racers, the new competition offers riders who don’t expect to be at the front of the field the chance to have their results rewarded with shiny silverware at the end of the season.

“Not everyone is a Mike Kras or a James Dunn or an Ash Wilde,” said Series Manager Stuart Drummond, “and they shouldn’t feel they have to be to race the British Two-stroke Championship.

“We recognise that some riders are faster than others and if you’re not banging bars at the front it’s great to have something to race for so, even if you’re not an Expert, you shouldn’t feel excluded.”

The six-round B2S series kicks off at round two of the Maxxis championship at Lyng on April 14 and then runs at Canada Heights on May 5, Blaxhall on June 2, Desertmartin on June 30 and Hawkstone Park on July 21 before signing off at Landrake on September 15.
