Top Level Club Racing Comes To Croft Circuit
Round five of the popular No Limits Motorcycle Racing Championship series makes its annual visit to Croft Circuit near Darlington this weekend (July 14/15th) with another capacity field set to battle out the various classes.

With all to play for in the various solo classes, one of the more popular concepts with No Limits is the Endurance class whereby riders battle it out over a three-hour race on Saturday afternoon around the full international 2.127-mile North Yorkshire circuit which means a race of around 120 laps!

As well as the Endurance race scheduled for a 3pm start on Saturday, the battle for supremacy in the other classes will be just as intense. Max Stainton leads the Metzeler Newcomer 600 class with Tony Hunter heading the 1000cc equivalent, whilst in the Pirelli Super Series, Lee Wells leads the 600cc class with Colin Parker topping the 1000cc category.

Scott Stevens heads the NLR Club 600s with Ian Kirby doing likewise in the NLR Pre-Injection 600 series whilst Andy Claridge will be looking to increase his advantage in the Ducati Challenge with Super Twins leader Mark Tompkinson and Standard Twins front-runner Andrew Mason hoping for more success.

However, local hopes will be with Andrew Stockdale in the Pacebuykz.com 1000cc Cup whereby the BMW rider from just down the road at Northallerton occupies second place in the title race behind Jack Thompson so expect a good scrap there.

Hoping to return from injury is Derbyshire’s John O’Toole, who can rely on brother-in-law and Bennetts British Superbike Championship leader Leon Haslam for guidance once again, as he looks to defend his lead in the CB500 class.

Practice gets underway at 9.30am on Saturday with the first of seven races getting underway at 12.00 noon. Sunday sees practice from 12.00 noon with a further 13 races scheduled from 12.45pm. Adult admission is just £11.00 on both days in advance or £15.00 on the day with accompanied children aged 15 and under admitted FREE on both days. A weekend ticket costs £15.00 in advance or £25.00 on the gate. There is also FREE car parking and FREE paddock access
