The opening rounds of the 2018 ACU Acklams Beta British Youth Trials Championship are taking place in the Isle of Man over the weekend of April 14th and 15
th hosted by the Isle of Man Youth Trials Club.
This very active club have hosted many rounds of the youth championship in previous years, most recently in 2016 and a round of the Ladies and Girls Championship in 2015 and are well advanced in their planning for this year.
The welcome addition of the A class back into the main youth events means that all the leading riders from all classes will kick off the championship on the spectacular volcanic rocks next to the sea at Scarlett on the first day of competition. The second day sees the action move inland to Kings Forest, a wooded hillside location in the centre of the Island providing a real contrast in terrain.
