Last Saturday, Auto 66 Racing held their annual Gala Awards dinner at the Royal Hotel in Scarborough, awarding the 2017 season champions with their trophies for hill climbs, sidecars and solo road racing.
There was a great turnout of riders, teams, marshals guests and Auto 66 members for the awards.
Leslie Moore, editor of Road Racing Ireland magazine, took the trip over from Ireland and kindly commented that it was the finest awards night that he had ever been to in UK. Quite a compliment as we are sure he has attended more than a few good nights out!
After the awards it was time to party - for some into the very early hours of Sunday as celebrations took place.
After the hangovers subsided, it is now time to focus on the 2018 season and with our first events just around the corner, we can't wait to get back on track.
