The bar has definitely been raised for the second round of the British Extreme Enduro Championship at Cowm Quarry on February 25th with the announcement that Red Bull KTM Factory rider Jonny Walker has confirmed his attendance at the event.
With many overseas commitments it will be a rare opportunity to see the super talented Walker in action on home soil. His record at Cowm Quarry is pretty good and he always provides great racing moments; bouncing past David Knight in a tricky uphill rock gulley to take the lead and win the last BEEC event he rode at Cowm is memorable to all who witnessed it.
Entries are coming in thick and fast as the deadline approaches with over 150 riders already on the books.
As with the opening round at Tong the course will be reverse for the afternoon Pro and Expert race and should provide excellent viewing opportunities for the many spectators who regularly attend the event.
