The Trials and Enduro Committee organised and delivered a pilot First Aid Training course to ACU members, specific to the needs of injured motorcyclists, in a course held in Rugby on Saturday 10th February. The course was provided free of charge to 12 ACU licence holders from a cross section of disciplines, the course delivered by Vince Jones of first aid training that cares (
www.firstaidtrainingthatcares.co.uk) with successful completion resulting in a National status accreditation.
The course was intended to be a pilot with it being monitored by a member of the Trials and Enduro committee in attendance, it was judged to be a total success by the attendees, and it was decided that we should invite Vince along to some of our events in order to give him better understanding of our sport.
