Lyng Hosts Bickers Lifting ACU Eastern Final Round this Weekend

The final round of the Bickers Lifting sponsored Eastern Motocross Championships takes place at Cadders Hill, Lyng, Norfolk on Sunday 8th October, hosted by the Norwich Vikings club.

Despite suffering with an injured knee, Luke Benstead will be in action as he needs a few more points to clinch the premier class title. Local star, Declan Whittle is Sixty three points behind in second place in the series, with last year's champion, Luke Parker just seventeen points behind the MX Nationals experts champion, in third place.

National star, Jake Nicholls, will also be in action. In his first race since dislocating his hip in April, Nicholls won all three moto's at the previous round at Blaxhall a fortnight ago. Other top experts at Lyng will be Shaun Southgate, Brad Woodroffe, Steve Bixby and Jason Morland. A host of young guns, including Tom Grimshaw, Dylan Woodcock and Jason Peters will be battling with the established experts on the tough Cadders Hill circuit.

In the Junior championships, Rheis Morter should be crowned as the champion as his closest rival, Aaron Holloway, was injured at Blaxhall.
