Strong Weekend for the Brit’s at Rudersberg Sidecar GP
As has been the case in the past the Rudersberg track near Stuttgart in Germany proved to be a happy hunting ground for the British teams. This was the penultimate round of the 2017 Sidecarcross world championships and all four British teams added to their points tally.

In the Group A quali race Bax / Musset won with Wilkinson / Chamberlain second and Brown / Millard fourth after an excursion off the track on the last lap. In the B Group race Giraud / Mucenieks took the win with Kinge / Humphrey finishing ninth and Foden / Grahame taking the last qualifying place in twelfth.

The first race was dominated by Bax who took the win with Giraud finishing third, Brown fourth, Wilkinson sixth, Kinge seventeenth and Foden nineteenth. This result meant Brown had overtaken Hermans to be fourth again in the championship table.

In the second leg Bax again took the win with Giraud second. The highest placed Brit was Wilkinson in fourth with Brown eighth, Kinge fourteenth and Foden one place behind.

With one round to go at Markelo this weekend Bax now leads by thirty eight points from Giraud and looks odds on to regain the title he won in 2015.
