Wimborne MCC hold the European 500cc Sidecar Semi-Final on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June at their Merley Hall Farm, Willett Road, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 3DH venue.
Onsite camping is available from midday on Friday 2nd June at a cost of £5 while the on track action starts Saturday afternoon with the European 500cc sidecars taking centre stage at 2pm-4.30pm for their practice session followed by an autograph and photograph session until 5pm. Live music takes over in the beer tent Saturday evening after presentations to the competitors has finished.
The main practice for the 500cc Solos and 1000cc Sidecars is Sunday morning 11am to midday with the first race taking place at 1pm after the parade of competitors.
There is one entrance fee for the whole weekend of £18 with accompanied under 16's free, programmes are £2. It's a great family weekend out, don't miss watching the top sidecars from Europe this weekend in Wimborne.
A late addition to the solos is Adam Ellis currently riding for Swindon in the SGB Premiership, a former Eastbourne, Isle of Wight and Poole rider who is sure to attract a great deal of interest this weekend. Zach Wajtknecht team mate of Ellis at Swindon also lines up in the solos. The vastly experienced David Howe also lines up as does James Wright who always puts on a good showing at Wimborne.
Please also remember dogs are welcome but thy must be kept on a lead at ALL times. This is a request from the farmer due to the amount of livestock very close by throughout the weekend.
