Brits Perform Well at World Sidecar Cross in France
The fourth round of the World Sidecarcross Championships was held at Chaumont in France, very close to the border with Switzerland. Out of the 42 teams entered there were four from GB namely Stuart Brown / Joe Millard, Brett Wilkinson / Dan Chamberlain, Dan Foden / Scott Grahame and George Kinge / Ryan Humphrey. All four teams qualified and in Foden’s case it was first and he was also the youngest driver on the day.

The two teams leading the standings namely Bax / Musset and Giraud / Mucenieks had one win and one second place each so there was no change at the top. Brown finished with sixth in each leg, Wilkinson had a tenth and a fourth while Foden scored one point in the first leg – his first ever World Championship point. Kinge did not manage a top twenty finish.

In the championship Brown is fourth and Wilkinson fifth. The next round is next weekend at Kegums in Latvia
