Springspeed Nationals at Shakespeare County Raceway

Round two of the ACU Championships will be at Shakespeare County Raceway this Bank Holiday weekend 29th April to 1st May.

 

Funny Bike

After winning the opening round of the championship at Easter with a holeshot win. Reigning ACU Funny Bike Champion Phil Crossley will have to be on his top form to hold off Allan Davies who knocked off 3/10ths of his personal best et from last year 7.491 and lost a close final with a p/b of 7.199.  Former champion Dave Peters is another rider who could win this event after running back to back 7.3secs.

 

Comp Bike

Eddy Smiley started his defence of the title with a win in the opening round of the championship.  Sean Mills, Mick Winyard and Martin Walker will be Smiley’s top challengers at this event.  Paul Hambridge is another rider who could win this event.  Due to only one Pro Stock Bike entered for the event.  Ian Burns will compete in Comp Bike.

 

Super Street Bike

Graham Balchin has had a lot of success over the years at this track and has fellow Kawasaki rider Dave Thomas entered for the event.
