Oliver’s Mount Racing are very happy to announce that 23 times Isle of Man TT winner John McGuinness has today confirmed that he will be attending the 2017 Bob Smith Spring Cup Road Races at Oliver’s Mount road race circuit in Scarborough, North Yorkshire on 22nd/23
rd April.
In addition to attending the event, McGuinness will also have 2 of his most prized bikes on display in the Oliver’s Mount tent in the paddock area. His Honda HM Plant Fireblade which took him to his first 130mph lap and also his 2014 Shinden Mugen electric bike. Both of which will be on display and ridden for a lap or two each day.
A favourite at the Scarborough circuit, McGuinness first raced around Oliver’s Mount 21 years ago! Since then the Morecambe rider has gone on to achieve amazing success on road circuits around the world, namely in the Isle of Man where he has won 23 TT races over the years.
During the Spring Cup weekend, we will also be interviewing McGuinness in the refreshment tent in the top car park so those who do not manage to get paddock access will still be able to meet him and listen to his interview.
