At a recent social evening at the Queen's Hotel, Laxey members of the Southern 100 Racing Club were presented with a cheque for £500.00.
The generous amount had been raised over the past twelve-months by the regulars and visitors to the popular Laxey hostelry and was handed over by Fred Adlem on behalf of all involved at ‘The Queens' to Southern 100 Club Chairman, Phil Taubman MBE.
During the evening, another cheque was presented to Harvey Garton, Chairman of the Manx Motor Cycle Club.
