The rounds of the 2017 ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship are coming thick and fast. With Tong and Cowm already completed there is just a week to go until the midpoint of the series, the third round, titled Ed’s Of The Valley in Mid Wales, close to Saints Well (postcode LD1 6PT).
Although an extreme series, organiser Paul Edmondson describes this round as a proper traditional forest-based Old School Hard Enduro with a long lap of around 30-45 minutes. That will be confirmed following a site visit this week.
The course will consist roughly of 80% forest tracks with 20% fire roads (to give riders somewhere to rest no doubt).
The entry is already over half full and more entries are coming in daily. This event will certainly draw out the Welsh forest specialists to show the extreme lads a thing or two and although Fast Eddy reckons it’s not extreme, many riders may question that after the first lap.
Entries are already open and you can secure your place by calling 01543 370070 or 07889 924560 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
