British success at European Enduro Final
The final round of the FIM European Enduro Championship took place on Oct 28/29th at Harfsen in Holland.

British rider Brad Freeman totally dominated the event, and in doing so became the 2016 European Enduro Champion as well as securing 2nd in the J E2/E3 class, where he had missed a round through injury.

Jane Daniels was another British rider who not only secured a win on both days but secured the European Women’s Enduro Championship after taking victory in every day of all the rounds.

Jane is also member of the ACU U23 Squad and along with the other squad members James Dent, Fraser Flockhart, Jordon Ridgway, Jake Subachus, Luke Flack and Alex Walton who made the trip to compete in the final.

James Dent, made a mistake on Day 1 which unfortunately cost him a minute, but rode on a mission on Day 2 to secure 3rd spot over weekend.

The Final round of the European Enduro Championship also includes the European Trophy of Nations and the Junior Trophy of Nations

Brad Freemen, James Dent, Alex Snow and Tom Sagar were our National team and despite an early retirement by Tom, the ACU team took victory and are the 2016 European Enduro Champions.

The Junior team of Fraser Flockhart, Jake Subucus, Luke Flack and Alex Walton had a set -back when Jake’s machine burnt out on a special test, but they rode hard to finish in a fine 3rd place and took the remaining podium spot.

Despite a disappointing weekend Tom Sagar he managed to retained 3rd place in the 2016 SE2 championship.

The results from the British rider provided a brilliant conclusion to the 2016 season.
