Anti-Doping Tests at Foxhill
At the final round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championships held at Foxhill on 18th September, a number of riders were selected for participation in some anti-doping tests.

The criteria used was that the top two in each class would be tested along with another randomly selected rider. Test results have now been received and all the results have proven to be negative.

The ACU would like to thank Sport England for their assistance in conducting the anti-doping tests and also in particular would like to thank the riders involved for their cooperation and professionalism throughout this process.

Brian Higgins, ACU Chairman commented, “It is some time now since anti-doping tests were conducted at a round of the British Motocross Championships. It is important to periodically carry out this procedure so that everyone – the riders, the Officials and spectators can see that measures are taken to prevent the use of drugs in our sport. The riders who were selected conducted themselves in a very professional manner and the results, I am pleased to say reflect this”.
