Steetley Plate (Charity) Trial this Saturday at New Barns Farm

Thursday May 26, 2016 at 1:28pm
This Saturday (28th May) Oswestry & DMC will be hosting the Steetley Plate (Charity) Trial at the New Barns Farm venue. The trial forms part of the “Trefonen Hill Walk weekend” – which is organised by the Landowners Helen and Roger Francis and has helped to raise much needed money for many local and International Charities.

The trial is designed to have sections aimed at the Novice or beginner, but there are also classes for all (except Youth C & D), the idea is for it to be a low scoring trial for everyone.

There will be a Catering van in attendance and Observers and Riders will get a meal voucher for taking part. Once the trial is over, all riders can either go for a practice or sit and chat over a cup of tea and a Burger.

New Barns Farm is a popular venue that has been in use since the 1960s and has hosted Inter Centre Team trials as well as hosting Graham Jarvis training days. It will be signposted from the Mile-end Roundabout on the A5.

The trial starts at 2pm and the Entry fee is just £15 all classes: Expert, Inters, Novice, Over 40, over 40 plus, Twinshock, Youth A & B, Pre-65 & sportsman (red/green/yellow and white routes)
