Wallace Cup Trial marks start of the ACU S3 Parts Championship
Sunday 28th February will see the 2016 ACU S3 Parts Trials Championship kick into action for the opening round, hosted by North Berks MCC at West Hagbourne near Didcot.

With the Championship once again sponsored by John Shirt and the S3 Parts range, The Wallace Cup will provide an enjoyable and popular opening event to the year. With over 100 entries already received, this includes of some of the country’s top names in the Elite class, along with 90 clubmen riders.

Top names include Women’s World number one and two, Emma Bristow and Becky Cook taking on Sam Connor and last year’s winner James Fry. Other entries include Alexz Wigg, Sam Haslam, Ross Danby, Chris Pearson, Andy Chilton and Jack Sheppard making his first appearance on the Beta UK machine.

The 25 mile course will see the first rider set off at 9:30am from the Horse and Harrow pub and head around the edge of the Berkshire Downs with sections at the famous Seymours Arena plus a selection of terrain all on the chalk surfaces that you find in this part of the country.

With the majority of the event off road on grass lanes, many regard the Wallace Cup as worth the entry fee alone just for the ride round. Spectators are also catered for with a full breakfast or egg and bacon baps available at the start whilst a food van will be at Seymours Arena all day.

The North Berks MCC have allowed the riders 5 ½ hrs to complete the course and with this being one of the few Nationals that happens in the South these days be sure to put OX11 0NB into your Sat Nav and come enjoy the event.
