Riders are busily preparing for the opening shakedown of the 2016 British Supermoto Season. Taking place at the legendary spiritual home of supermoto here in the UK, Three Sisters Race Circuit, Wigan. Log the date in your diary, Saturday 12th March 2016 and as an added bonus, entry for spectators is FREE..!!!
The continued rise in popularity of supermoto is encouraging with many riders from opposing disciplines now taking opportunities to try their hand at this form of bikesport. Different class structures and a reduction in entry fees have been introduced for the 2016 season, with the emphasis on making it an attractive option for competitor’s.
Action starts at the official ‘Warm Up Event’ at 9:00 am and all levels of competitors will be out on circuit during the day. It’s a great opportunity to come along and spend the day soaking up the atmosphere of this ‘must be seen’ form of bikesport.
