British Enduro Championship heads to the Isle of Man for 2016
Manx based Southern MCC is delighted to announce that SMCC Manxduro will become round 3 of the ACU British Time Card Enduro Championship.

 

Dates for 2016 event are 6/7th August 2016 with competitor sign-on Friday night.

 

2016 will be the third running of the Manxduro in its present format and the event has been a resounding success with top class entries in each year and 2016 promises to be the pinnacle of the sport for the Manx club.

 

The format of the event is a traditional timecard Enduro with some road work and multiple special tests on a variety of terrain from forests to open cross country and a challenging quarry too!

 

Expect to see locals at the front of the Championship class such as current Enduro Junior World Champion, ACU British Time Card Enduro Champion and ISDE E1 winner Jamie McCanney, former world champion brother Danny McCanney, multiple world champion and local powerhouse David Knight will do battle with the stars of British and international enduro. Former winners of the event include rising star Lee Sealey (2015) and 2015 European champion Tom Sagar (2014).

 

The event will cater for all levels and abilities from the explosive pace of the Championship class to the more relaxed Sportsman class and all in between.

 

Online entries open Jan 2016 classes are Championship, Expert, Clubman, Ladies, Over 40’s, over 50’s and Sportsman.
