OSET’S BACK TO BACK SEASON FINALE
OSET Bikes will round off its outdoor season of have- a-gos and demonstrations in style over the next two weeks, as it visits Silverstone and Donington Park.

The electric bike manufacturer will make up part of the entertainment at this weekend’s MotoGP™ at Silverstone.  OSET will offer free have a gos for children on their range of off road bikes.  The demonstration team meanwhile, will exhibit their skills over a series of man made obstacles.

Ian Smith, founder and CEO of OSET Bikes, said: “To be able to highlight the capabilities of our machines against a backdrop of the best motorcyclists in the world, is a fantastic opportunity for OSET.  The kids that get to try OSET Bikes all have a great time and our demo riders are able to show just how much fun you can have in your own back garden.”

The Silverstone event will be the first on the MotoGP calendar to welcome a winner other than Marc Marquez, as it was Repsol Honda Team partner Dani Pedrosa who claimed victory last time out at Brno. From a British point of view, when not trying out OSET Bikes, there is a lot to shout about as five home riders will line up for the race. Cal Crutchlow, Bradley Smith, Scott Redding, Michael Laverty and Leon Camier will all be flying the British flag in their home round.

Following the Hertz British Grand Prix at Silverstone, OSET Bikes heads up the M1 to Donington for the BSB weekend.  With have a gos and demonstrations on offer the demo team also get to enjoy a start-line experience, that will see the youngsters ride down the actual start-finish straight on one of the most iconic tracks in the UK.

Ian added: “It’s thanks to the team at Donington that we have been able to introduce OSET Bikes to the road racing market.  We believe our bikes are the perfect starter bike, no matter what form of motorsport you go on to ride.   Riding trials bikes, slowly over a range of obstacles and terrain teaches youngsters throttle control, balance and positioning all of which are fundamental skills needed for any form of two wheeled sport. Not only that, it’s great fun too.”

In a relationship that has developed over the last three years, Donington has offered a 20% discount on tickets using the code OSET2014.  Kids under 13 still go free when accompanied by a paying adult – making for a great day out.

As a family circuit, Donington Park recently launched its new kids membership club ‘Little Racers’.  Designed to encourage young fans to get into motorsport, Little Racers is open to all children under the age of 14. Free to join, each member will receive a driving licence membership card, regular emails with the latest motorsport news, competitions, special offers, a birthday card from Donington Park and £5 off an adult ticket at any of the circuit’s club events held throughout the year.
