Each year the ACU Trials & Enduro Committee select young riders in both Trials and Enduro to whom some financial assistance is given to enable them to compete Internationally.
The FIM Europe Championships are the main focus as this is regarded as an excellent stepping stone between National and World status.
The Enduro squad is chosen from young riders, and previous British Enduro Championship performance is taken as the main selection criteria with consideration also given to British Sprint Enduro and British Extreme Enduro results as well of course to any previous International results and any ISDE performance.
The standard of applicants gets higher each year and selection more difficult. It is emphasised that rider improvement is the main aim and results are scrutinised throughout season.

The 2014 European Enduro Championship consists of rounds in Spain, Romania, Italy and Hungary with the latter also being a National Team Competition where the intention will be to enter a Junior British team selected from the above riders.
