It is all revved up and somewhere to go this Sunday 9th March because it is the 6 hour Endurothon at Foxborough Quarry Sible Hedingham Essex. This is the first event for 2014 being organised by the Sudbury Motor Cycle Club and so far over 100 competitors have entered and more are expected.
It is a mixture of teams of two and solos known as Ironman. For the teams there are no specific times when they have to changeover which the Two Man Championship Contest has.
There will be the usual Classes of Championship, Expert, Clubman and Sportsman riders for both the Teams and Ironmen and after months of rain it is expected the course will be muddy especially the infamous bogs.
Last year the time limit was reduced to 3.5 hours due to the snowy conditions however this year the marathon endurance is expected to go the full 6 hours with the first riders away at 9am.
