Monday February 3, 2014 at 11:15am
The Dantec Husqvarna UK team has revealed that they will be competing in all eight rounds of the 2014 MX Nationals championship. Nathan Watson, Steven Lenoir and Tony Saunders will be beneath their awning at Culham for round one on March 22nd.

All three of the Dantec Husqvarna UK riders will be hoping to win the title in their respective titles. Nathan will be stepping up to the 450f full-time, after racing the smaller bike last year. Watson will come up against some very tough competition in the MX1 class, as a whole host of title contenders have signed up, namely Kristian Whatley. Steven Lenoir will surely be one to watch in MX2; the Frenchman will add to the international flavour in the MX Nationals.

EVS, Michelin, Fly Racing, RFX, Prox, Bell, Maxima, MD, Surf and Turf, and VP Fuel will all be involved in the series. MOTO Magazine, Dirt-Bike Rider, TMX, MX Large and MX Vice will be supporting the MX Nationals, too, at some of the best tracks in the UK.

It has been confirmed that rounds of the MX Nationals will held at Canada Heights, Foxhills, Whitby, Culham and Pontrilas. So, the riders are going to face many different track surfaces and layouts throughout the year.

Matt Hutchins (Dantec Husqvarna UK Team Manager): “I am very pleased to confirm that Dantec Husqvarna UK will be contesting the MX Nationals. It’s exciting for the sport, to see everyone getting behind this new championship. I can see it going from strength to strength.”

James Burfield (MX Nationals Director): “
It is brilliant to have even more title contenders joining the stacked field in the 2014 MX Nationals. I am pleased that Husqvarna is going to be represented too, as it will be interesting to chart their progress throughout the season! [Steven] Lenoir and [Nathan] Watson will join a long list of race win contenders, which will result in some great racing, I’m sure.”
