Apico LPE Kawasaki in for the MX Nationals
The 2014 MX Nationals series has really started to snowball, as yet another great team (Apico LPE Kawasaki) and a fantastic competitor (Gert Krestinov) have signed up to race the full series. Gert has stated that he loves Culham Park, the track set to host round one, so he will definitely be one to watch straight out of the gate!

Each class has attracted some fantastic riders from every level and background. However, the pro class specifically is getting more competitive by the second. Kristian Whatley, Martin Barr, Steven Clarke, Yentel Martens, Neville Bradshaw, Steven Lenoir and Nathan Watson, to name a few, will be joining Gert Krestinov on the starting line each week.

Gert will be using the series to get up to speed for his assault on select European rounds of the MXGP series. Ben James will join Krestinov beneath the Apico LPE Kawasaki awning; he will contest the MXY2 class.

Paul Irwin (MX Nationals Director): It is going to be great to have Steve [James] and his team in the MX Nationals pits. They are one of the most professional teams out there and Gert Krestinov is a fantastic competitor that will do very well in this series. The pro class is really brimming with talent, and now another high profile team has decided to join the series!

Steve James (LPE Kawasaki Team Manager): We are really looking forward to racing the MX Nationals; I think it is going to be a very good series, as there are some great tracks. It is also starting to gather some momentum now, as a lot of top riders and teams are signing up. The outdoor season is nearly upon us, and I can’t wait for it to start. If the racing outdoors is half as good as it has been in arenacross so far, it is going to be an awesome year.
