Past Chairman of MGPSC Dies
It is with much regret that the Manx Motor Cycle Club received the sad news that Robert (Bob) Taylor died on Saturday 23rd November after bravely fighting illness.

Bob who lived in Sulby first rode in the MMCC Newcomers Junior Race in 1982, riding a Yamaha and finished in 11th position. He competed every year with varying degrees of success up to and including 1988.

From 1990 to 1996 inclusive he rode in the Classic Manx, but never managed to finish a race!

Bob will be more remembered by many as a former Chairman of the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club, having recently stood down from that position after four years and will be sadly missed by the MMCC, MGPSC and many people in the motorcycling world.

The funeral will be on Friday 29th November at the Sulby Community Hall, Clenagh Road, Sulby at 3.00pm followed by burial at Lezayre Church and afterwards at the Sulby Glen Hotel.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the MGPSC or Hospice Isle of Man.

The Manx Motor Cycle Club offers their condolences to his family and many friends at this sad time.
