With the European Quad Cross of Nations just around the corner, the ACU team for this event will consist of Luke Cooper, Connor Smith and Ed Davies. The event will take place on the 12th and 13th October at Cingoli in Italy.
Paul Winrow, who was appointed the ACU Team Manager for the event had worked hard to try and secure the services of three high profile riders that would stand a strong chance of challenging for the victory. After speaking with a number of riders, Paul advised the ACU Motocross Department that he felt that the ACU would not be able field a team strong enough for this event. The Motocross Committee fully accepted Paul’s decisions.
However following further discussion by the Motocross Committee, some member felt that riders who currently hold second, sixth and seventh in the British Championship warranted the chance to compete.
Although the Motocross Committee supports the entry of a team for the event, the ACU will not be appointing an Official Team Manager for the event in two weeks’ time and would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul for his efforts.
