ACU Trendmicro British Classic Enduro

Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 4:30pm
The ACU T&E Committee are looking for clubs that may be interested in incorporating a round of the ACU Trendmicro British Classic Enduro with their current Enduro events

Should you be thinking of including a round we give details below of the aspects you would need to take into consideration

Secretary of the Meeting – you would have additional entries to process, but they would be at the same prices as other entries

There are potentially six classes  -CE1, CE2 & CE3, Championship and Clubman classes of each.

Administration – No additional times would be needed for schedules, if entries are sufficient we suggest running CE Championship classes at the back of Clubman scheduled classes and CE Clubman riders in with or at the back of the Sportsman class. This is of course dependant on entry size in each class or classes that you intend to run

Route – No need to change or modify the route or create special routes on the course for these classes.

Technical Inspection  –Machines would need to be examined to ensure that they meet with the criteria  for each class, specifically as follows -:

.

CE1 – Machines originally manufactured with all of the following:

Two rear shock absorbers,  Drum brakes front and rear  Air cooled engine.

CE2 – Machines originally manufactured with TWO of the following:

Two rear shock absorbers,  Drum brakes front and rear  Air cooled engine.

CE3 – NON CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS - at the discretion of the Organiser.

For machines that do not comply with the requirements for CE1 or CE2 but fulfil the eligibility as defined in the Supplementary Regulations.

This information will be in next year’s ACU handbook and the format is designed to be very straight forward for anybody that is interested in bikes. All other Technical rules for Enduro bikes apply.

Any organiser wanting to run a round of the BEC  championship in addition to the Classic would  use the ACU Trendmicro title, and if next year’s BEC was sponsored by xxxxxx then the event title would be ACU xxxxxxx British Enduro Championship incorporating a round of the ACU Trendmicro British Classic Enduro Championship .Any other sponsor you may also have on board could also be mentioned.
