THRUXTON IS DRAWING CLOSER FOR NG ROAD RACING

Tuesday September 24, 2013 at 10:25am
Saturday 12th October is the only chance this year for Club racers to experience the thrill and challenge of one of the countries fastest race circuits, when the final Round 15 of the 2013 NG Road Racing Championships visits BARC Thruxton. The 20 race programme will showcase races for all solos categories from 125GPs to Superbikes, with classes for the older pre-injection machines, street legal bikes, 250 & 400 4 strokes, singles, twins and triples, Minitwins, 600cc's and not forgetting the Open and Formula 2 Sidecars.

Featured in the programme will be:
The final round of the Phoenix Open championship, where efforts will no doubt be made to prove that this year’s champion, Phil Bevan, Phil Bevan Trackdays Yamaha R1, cannot have it all his own way.
Most exciting will be the final round of the Dunlop and 100% Suspension 250GP ACU National Championship, where Daniel Jackson, Team Sigie Yamaha TZ 250, will do everything possible to defend his narrow 9 point lead from the very fast Christopher Martin, Honda RS 250, who headed him home on the last occasion they met.

The full day meeting will start with practice at 09:00 and the first of the 20 races will be off the grid at around 10:30.
