Cash in with the Monster Energy MXGP Festival Prize Fund for Amateurs
The countdown to the 2013 MXGP Festival is officially on and Monster Energy are psyched to share what they have in store for the second edition of this massive event. Once again, Matterley Basin will gather together tens of thousands of fans plus riders from multiple classes in Winchester from August 22-25 where the festival will see action from both Pro and Amateur classes.

As part of the packed-out programme at one of the best circuits in Europe, Monster are ready to spur-on all those in the popular Amateur category with a hefty prize fund that will reward £1000 to the winner, £600 to second position and £400 to the third place finisher.

The 2013 MXGP Festival is again a date not to be missed for those with the remotest interest in off-road motorcycles. The presence of the world’s best racers from ten different divisions – from the premier MX1 outfit of the FIM Motocross World Championship, that will see Tommy Searle look to produce another grandstand performance, across to the fastest ladies around in the Women’s World series – means Matterley will again be a unique experience for spectators and those eager to join in.

For the Amateur riders out there the Festival is a huge chance to share track space with some of the stars of the sport. Opportunities like this don’t come around that often and that’s why Monster is pumped to be a part of it. Already over fifty revved-up part-time race heads are set to pull into Matterley in a matter of weeks and the deadline date for inclusion is coming around really fast - the period for inscription for the amateur races has been exceptionally extended till 9th August.
