Hottrax Heads to Cadwell Park On July 13th and 14th

IBL Racing (Mark Clark/Hudson Kennaugh) go into round five of the ACU/Sorrymate.com Endurance championship at Cadwell Park on July 13 and 14, holding a ten-point lead over their closest rivals, Go Racing Developments (Greg Allsop/Andy Carpenter).

Team Traction Control (Steve Mercer/Ben Neeves) who finished second, just over eight seconds after 86 tough laps in the fourth round of the competition at Snetterton, are now third in third in the ACU/Sorrymate.com National Endurance 1000 class, 15 points down the leaders.

With four rounds to go, including this one, it is far too early, though, for IBL Racing to start celebrating.

Team Sorrymate.com (Colin Norris/Warren Verwey) took runner-up spot in the class in round four and stretched their championship lead over Power Projects (Richard Cunningham/Phil Setton) to 29 points.  

Pitstop Racing is up to third in the standings, 31 behind the leaders.

TANC 2 tops the Clubman 1000 class on 95 points, a comfortable 28 clear of Anglia Interiors/Insignia Signs.

Thunder Chickens (Ellis Hadley/Tarran) lead the Clubman 600 series by just four points.

Motogrande 1000 class leader Graham Hornby (Honda) has a five-point advantage over his main rival Andrew Haines (Yamaha).

Mark Lister, who is not doing the full series, is entered here and he, plus local star Phil Crowe and Sean Hardwicke on Ady Longmate’s Honda could take well take points off the championship contenders.
Paul O’Connor (Triumph 675) kept his Motogrande 600 title hopes alive by finishing fourth and fifth in the two Snetterton races.

O’Connor tops the table on 134 points, Stephen Bridle has 127, with Jack Bleakley on 97 and Brendan Brown fourth with 91. 

Colin Norris (Yamaha 600) and Graham Hornby (Ostomed Honda 1000) moved closer to the absent Moto Solo championship leader, Angelo Derosa.,

Hornby closed to within one point of second-placed Norris in the standings.

Derosa, who is  likely to miss this meeting, is still top on 86, 17 ahead of Norris.

Tony Keilty (Kawasaki) leads the Michelin Power Cup 1000 championship to 71 points.

Greg Allsop (Yamaha) must win most of the remaining rounds toto snatch the crown.

Man on form, William White tops the 600 class on a maximum of 225 points, 57 ahead of Richard Charlton and 72 clear of Wayne Humble.

Practice on Saturday starts at 9.0am with racing underway around 11.0am.

Warm-up’s begin at 9.0am on the Sunday, with racing due to start just before 11.0am.

Adult admission is £13 each day, with children, 12 and under, free.
